1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to DanceClock and explains how the operator identified on this page handles information related to the app. The app requires no account, has no advertising or behavioral tracking, and does not automatically upload alarms, rest records, camera images or health records to the developer. Feedback you voluntarily send by email is handled as described below. The support email is shown on this page.

2. Alarms and rest records

To save settings, restore timers and manage alarms, the app stores alarm times, names, repeat rules, tasks, sounds, scheduling identifiers and wake-up checks on your device, together with active and historical nap and night-rest records. Rest records include start and end times, planned wake times, how rest ended and any linked alarm identifier. These records measure rest sessions, not actual sleep. The app also stores the type, quantity and completion time of your most recently completed task, plus preferences such as the sleep sound, volume, fade-out timer, automatic playback when starting night rest, appearance and language. The system alarm service processes the configuration needed to ring. The app does not upload these records to the developer. You may optionally add a name, which is stored on this device and displayed only in Me. It is not attached to reports, shares or feedback.

3. Camera and Movement Recognition

The camera is used only when you enter an exercise task or preview and grant camera permission. Images are used for on-device movement recognition and a live preview. They are not recorded, saved as photos or videos, or uploaded. Camera capture stops when you leave the feature. The app does not identify people or use the microphone to record sleep or ambient sound.

4. Apple Health data

When you choose to connect Health, the app requests read access to sleep records. It requests heart rate and respiratory rate when you view nighttime metrics, and heart rate variability (SDNN), sleeping wrist temperature, and blood oxygen when you view additional metrics. All access is read-only and used to display the records, sources, and trends that are actually available. The app does not write, modify, or delete Apple Health data. Samples and reports are processed only in on-device memory. No Health data cache is stored on disk, no data is uploaded to the developer or third-party servers, and the data is not used for advertising, marketing, or user profiling. The app saves only an on-device preference indicating that a connection or metric-access request has been initiated, to reduce repeated guidance. This preference does not mean Health access has been granted.

5. Permissions and choices

Alarm, camera and health permissions are requested separately, and you may allow or deny each one. Alarms and naps still work without health records. iOS does not reveal to apps whether health read access was denied or there are simply no records, so the app will not assume you denied access when no records are available. Manage alarm and camera permissions in system Settings, and this app's health read access in the profile and app list in Health.

6. Feedback, Copying, and Sharing

The feedback page prepares the text you enter and optional app and iOS version information. It does not automatically attach alarms, camera images or health records. Copying writes to the system clipboard only when you tap Copy; sharing and email let you choose the recipient and confirm sending. If you email us, we receive your contact email, the feedback you choose to provide and any included version information. We use these only to reply and investigate that issue, not for advertising or marketing. Images generated when sharing a completed task contain the task type, quantity and completion date, but no alarm names, camera images or health data. External email and sharing services, and websites you choose to open, have their own privacy rules. Feedback emails may also include the sender name or display name you set in your email service. We use it only to handle that feedback request.

7. Storage and deletion

Alarms, preferences, active and historical nap and night-rest records, and your most recently completed task are stored on your device and remain after reopening the app. You can choose Delete local record on the detail page of an ended nap or night-rest session. This does not delete Apple Health data or change alarms. You can change the sleep sound, volume, fade-out and automatic playback preferences on the full-screen night-rest page and in its Sleep Sounds options; ending rest does not clear these preferences. Deleting an alarm also requests removal of its associated system schedules. Before uninstalling, cancel unwanted alarms and press and hold End to finish any active nap or night rest. To remove your name, edit it at the top of Me, clear it and save. Deleting the app removes its local app data; system backups follow your device settings. Apple Health samples and reports are processed only in memory on your device. The original records are managed by the system and their sources; deleting this app does not delete them. You can manage or delete the original records in the Health app.

8. Policy updates and contact

This policy is provided with the app. If data handling or required permissions change, we will update the notice and request permissions again as needed. For questions, or to request access to, correction of or deletion of feedback you have sent, contact the support email shown on this page. We retain related emails only as long as needed to handle the feedback and delete information no longer needed after resolving the matter; information that must be retained by law follows the applicable retention period. For records stored only on your device, use the management options in the app or system.
